A rat named Remy, dreams to be a great chef in Paris but for a rat his dream was beyond his limit. Remy loves food and he likes eating real food, other than eating garbage like his father and his friends. Gusteau was Remy’s role model he always wanted to be a great chef just like him. As we all know one of human’s enemies would be rats, every time we see a rat we always try to kill it. This is what got in the way of Remy. One day he and family got separated because of one gun shooting grandma. Remy wonders around Paris and finds himself inside Gusteau's restaurant. Soon Remy teams up with a young chef with little talent named Linguini. Together they are able to create some fabulous dishes, but they live in fear that someone will discover their secret behind all the cooking. When Remy's passion for cooking turns the French restaurant upside down , the rat who would be king of the kitchen learns important lessons about life, friends, and family while questioning whether he should pursue his life being a great chef or going back to his family underground as a sewer rat. In the end Gusteau’s restaurant closed down because they found out about all the rats in the kitchen but it wasn’t a sad ending at all because young boy Linguini opens a small restaurant and feeds all the customers with pleasure and also names his cuisine Ratatouille. The main message on ratatouille was "everyone can cook" this means a lot not everyone can draw or sing but cooking is art where everyone could participate and be better with practice. So I personally think the main message is a key point to a be a better cook. What I would rate this movie out of 10 would 10/10 they purposely made the rat as a main character to show that "everyone can cook" and to spread the message.
3 Course Meal
Hot And Sour Soup
Ice Cream With Fried Banana
Fruits Salad
4 c. chicken broth
1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. ground white pepper 3 tbsp. rice wine vinegar 2 tbsp. cornstarch 3 tbsp. cold water 1 egg, lightly beaten 1 tbsp. sesame oil 1 tbsp. soy sauce 1 whole green onion, finely sliced
Mix cornstarch with cold water. Cover mushrooms with boiling water; soak 30 minutes. Drain and shred. Combine mushrooms, soy sauce, salt and stock in large saucepan. Bring to boil over high heat. Reduce heat and simmer 3 minutes. Add bean curd, pepper and vinegar; bring to boil again. Add cornstarch mixture and stir until soup thickens. Slowly pour in beaten egg, stirring gently. Remove from heat and pour into serving bowl. Garnish top with green onions. Serves 4.
IngredientsIn a heavy saucepan, combine the first five ingredients. Cook over medium-low heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture is thick enough to coat a metal spoon and reaches at least 160 degrees F. Remove from the heat; cool quickly by setting pan in ice and stirring the mixture.Cover and refrigerate overnight or freeze immediately. Cut the bananas in circles. Mix the egg, the sugar, the salt and the baking soda. Then slowly add the flour while stir the other products. The mixture must be something like cake batter. Fill a frying pan with about 2 cm oil and wait until it gets warm. Carefully roll each banana circle in the mixture and then put it into the oil until it gets like "golden". Then turn the banana to fry on the other side, also if you wish you can also add honey as well. Wait till it cools down and serve and enjoy. AS FOR FRUIT SALAD ADD ANY FRUITS YOU WANT, WITH HONEY. WHY I CHOOSE THESE RECIPES The reason for me to choose these recipe because soup was one of the main reason why Linguini got a job Gusteau. The way Ramy the rat made the soup was eye catching it looked really the way he through all the spices into make the soup better was just cool. so during my spare time i planed to make a hot and sour soup with some dessert. |
